Andaman Spindle Bush is a shrub with hairless, round branches. Leaves are 10-15 cm long, 7-7.5 cm wide, elliptic or elliptic-oblong, pointed or somewhat long-pointed, leathery, green above, pale beneath. Yellowish flowers are borne in clusters of 1-3. They generally have parts in fives. Capsule is the size of a cherry, round, obscurely 4-lobed. There is one seed in each compartment.
