Botanical name: Rhododendron decipiens Family: Ericaceae (Rhododendron family)
Deceptive Rhododendron is species of Rhododendron found in Sikkim. Leaves
are elliptic and leathery. Flowers are pink-white, bell-shaped, with many
overlapping petals.
Leaves of Deceptive Rhododendron yield campanulin, friedelin, ursolic acid
and quercetin.
