Dwarf Chin Cactus is a small cactus with a spherical or a little flat, usually solitary stem with 9 to 10 broad ribs and 5 to 7 bristle-like radial spines. It grows up to 12.5 cm in diameter. Flowers are purple-red, sometimes pinkish-purple, pink, orange, or white. They are funnel-shaped, up to 4 cm in diameter, and appear in early summer. Dwarf Chin Cactus is native to Argentina, cultivated as a houseplant worldwide.
