Botanical name: Alysicarpus luteovexillatus    Family: Fabaceae (Pea family)

Fringed-Sepal Alyce Clover is an annual herb with narrow oblong or lanceshaped leaves. Flowers are shaped like pea-flowers, deep pink with a prominent yellow standard petal which is tinged with pink. Sepals are narrow, pointed, prominently fringed with hairs. Fringed-Sepal Alyce Clover is native to Western Ghats.
