Botanical name: Senecio graciliflorus    Family: Asteraceae (Sunflower family)

Graceful Senecio is an erect perennial plant with stem 2-7 ft. The long narrow lance-like leaves are rather regularly pinnately lobed. Each leaf had 6-8 pairs of lobes. The lobes are coarsely unequally toothed. The graceful yellow flower-heads are narrow-cylindrical, 8 mm long. They can be erect or drooping, and occur in much-branched flat-topped clusters. The "petals" or ray-florets are 3-5 in number.
