Merck's Dahlia is a tuberous rooted perennial herb 1-2 ft tall, but can grow up to 8 ft. It has large divided leaves, and produces large single flowers in shades of lilac, white and pink, with yellow centers. Flowers are 7-8 cm across. Merck's Dahlia is native to Mexico. It is popularly cultivated as an annual plant in India.
