Botanical name: Kalanchoe tomentosa    Family: Crassulaceae (Sedum family)

Panda plant is a succulent plant characterized by its fuzzy, silver-green leaves with brown or black spots, giving it a resemblance to panda fur. The plant's most distinctive feature is its leaves, which are densely covered in a white, fuzzy layer, giving them a soft, velvety texture. The leaves are fleshy, oval-shaped, and typically a pale green color, often with silvery or grayish hues. The margins of the leaves often have brown or black spots or markings, enhancing their panda-like appearance. In summer, clusters of yellow-green flowers with dark brown petal tips may appear atop stalks which are up to 45 cm long. Panda Plant is native Madagascar, cultivated as a house plant elsewhere.
