Pandua Stone Flower is a perennial herb with stem
20.3-25.4 cm. It is named for the Pandua region in Bengal. Leaf-stalks
are velvet-hairy, eglandular. Leaves are 3-whorled stalked, 2 stalkless
leaves at the tip. Leaves are shallowly crenulate, heart-shaped, tip
nearly blunt. Flowers are borne in branch-end many-flowered cymes.
Bracts are ovate, nearly hairless. Flowers are about 2.2 cm long,
purple, nearly hairless. Ovary is 0.7-1.3 cm long, hairless. Capsule is
about 4 cm long. Pandua Stone Flower is found in Nepal to East
Himalaya, Tibet, Vietnam.
