Black Pepper but differs in its papery leaves,
catkin-type inflorescence, rounded floral bracts which are spirally
arranged in rows and the alternating rows of stamens.The ripe fruits
are dark green or black. Spear Pepper is native to NE India to
Peninsula Malaysia.
