Twin Flowered Cassia is a spreading shrub comes from southern United States. It is probably the only Cassia seen blooming in winters in India. It has pinnate leaves, 2 to 3 inches long, with 4-14 pairs of leaflets. The Twin Flower Cassia bears large yellow flowers, 1 to 1.6 inch wide (2.5-4 cm), in groups of 2, in winter and spring. The flowers have 5 yellow petals and 7 stamens occur in pairs. Pod to 10 cm long. Flowering: December-March.
