Broadleaf Sirhookera is an orchid growing on trees, with very short stem and worm-like roots. Leaves are 9-10 x 2-2.5 cm, including a leaf-stalk of 1-1.5 cm long, oblong, pointed. Flowers are white, in 15-20 cm long branched racemes. Branches are slender; dorsal sepal obovate, blunt, 3-veined; lateral sepals elliptic-oblong, blunt, 3-veined. Petals are oblong, blunt, 1-veined, lip 4 x 2 mm, 3-lobed; lateral lobes smaller, oblong, blunt, incurved; midlobe ovate, blunt or pointed. Broadleaf Sirhookera is found in South India and Sri Lanka. Flowering: August-September.
