Nilgiri Ragwort is a perennial herb with branches
angled and leaves beneath densely white-woolly, ovate-heart-shaped or
-arrowshaped, tapering toothed hairless or cottony above, leaf-stalk
short eared. Daisy-like yellow flower-heads are 8 mm long, with
bracteoles, borne in leaf-axils and at branch-ends, in rounded corymbs
or lax panicles. Involucral bracts are linear pointed woolly,
ray-florets yellow, few. Achenes are velvet-hairy. Nilgiri Ragwort is
found in Southern Western Ghats. Flowering: October-April.
