Stalkless Coinwort Lindernia is a sprawling or semiprostrate herb with slender
hairy branches. Leaves have almost no stalks, and are wide-oval or nearly
circular, with serrated margins. The name nummulariifolia means
having foliage like nummus, money; referring to small, circular leaves.
Solitary flowers appear on leaf axils. Flower tube is violet or white,
about 7 mm; lower lip spreading flat, 3-lobed; upper lip ovate.
Stalkless Coinwort Lindernia is distributed in Kashmir, Myanmar, Nepal,
Sikkim, Thailand, Vietnam.
